Idoloid was the former Japanese magazine dedicated to the life-sized japanese doll market. It had interviews, photo shoots, how-to pose articles, and manufacturing information along with advertising from the various japanese manufacturers. The issues are long out of print, but hopefully someone may one day find some and scan them.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's same doll but with heads switched. Lots of quality there
